A message from the Stephen A. Johnson family...

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about us. You should know that I like taking the time to get to know you as well. When you are interested in buying one of our well-built homes or have already moved in to a Johnson Property, we are always a phone call away. We’re not your typical cut and run builder, we live close by and treat you like neighbors.

Johnson Tradition: I was born and grew up here in Kansas City and even attended Center High School. My father was a small business owner, and he taught me the values of good business practices, to value relationships and treat people with respect. Currently, my family and I live in a nearby community in Leawood and are within close proximity to all developments and homes we build. I found quality control is more of a reality when you can get to the jobsite early and manage the construction, craftsmanship and relationships every day.

As a home enthusiast, I started understanding construction in the mid-90’s as myself and a small crew were remodeling homes throughout the South Kansas City area, mostly in the Waldo and Brookside areas. We started building new spec and custom homes in 2002. After seeing how old homes deteriorate during my remodeling years, it helps in understanding how to avoid poor construction. In addition, foundations are built for the Kansas City areas freeze-thaw conditions and drastic temperature changes. Whether you stay one year or retire in your new home, we want you to know your home will stand strong for years to come.
